SUMMER SHOW 2017!

You’ve all already played Ordinary World and the Musical Staircase, and now we’re putting those bits of music into arrangements. Luke and Amber are demonstrating in this video below. I even put little moving guitars that show you EXACTLY which note is coming where. On the day we’ll play Ordinary World, and I’d love as many people singing as would like to, then a combination of Wade in the Water going into Hit The Road Jack, and singing during Hit The Road Jack would also be great – I think you all know the words for that.
IMPORTANT – Your objective is to MEMORISE the notes you’ll be playing. This is going to be easy, as long as you play through enough times, because there are only about six notes and we’ve all played them together already a bunch of times. Go through this video more than once – and you can also play along with the audio underneath it to see if you can remember the notes without the music in front of you.
Honestly this is going to be EASY for every single one of you – as long as you play through this video or the lesson audio under it EVERY DAY between now and the show. If you are confident with the musical staircase, go straight to the video with Amber and Luke. If you can’t remember that, watch the video at the foot of the page first.

Show arrangements demonstrated by Amber and Luke. Watch this if you can easily play the musical staircase.

Ordinary World
Where can I find the city of shining light
In an ordinary world?
How can I leave a buried treasure behind
In an ordinary world?
[Chorus 1]
The days into years roll by
It’s where that I live until I die
Ordinary world
[Verse 2]
What would you wish if you saw a shooting star
In an ordinary world?
I’d walk to the end of the earth and afar
In an ordinary world
[Chorus 2]
Baby, I don’t have much
But what we have is more than enough
Ordinary world
[Verse 3]
Where can I find the city of shining light
In an ordinary world?
How can I leave a buried treasure behind
In an ordinary world?
[Chorus 3]
Baby, I don’t have much
But what we have is more than enough
Ordinary world
