In this project, we will develop your ability to play songs you like, and also compose your own songs.
You will be able to work on either or both areas. You learn a lot about music by exploring how to put the pieces of a song together, it’s satisfying and engaging.
When you work on learning a song to add to your repertoire, you’ll be applying your knowledge of different chords, rhythm, song forms and structures as well as what elements you might want to vary if you create your version of the song. Various aids will be available to you in terms of backing tracks and audios you can use to practice with while you are getting quicker with the chords that are needed for different sections of the song.
