How to play Ordinary World

Watch the video above for an explanation/reminder of how to play Ordinary World. When you have watched it once and can play the notes, you can fast forward to the end of the video to play along with the song. The important thing for this is to give your fingers the chance to move fluently by making sure you don’t always use finger 1 to play the notes on the left hand even if it feels easier to start with. Use finger 3 for notes on the third fret, finger 2 for notes on the second fret, finger 1 for notes on the first fret. Remember also that for guitar we number the left hand fingers 1-4 from the index finger as we don’t count the thumb – finger 1 = index, finger 2 = middle finger, finger 3 = ring finger, finger 4 = pinky.
