Use the swamp of words and a timer!
Set the timer for two minutes and see how many words you can do.
Repeat! Doing this regularly even for two minutes will really help you learn where the notes are and is much more effective than trying to memorise them.
As you move through different strings this also gives you a way to check in and see if one string needs a bit more attention than the others. String three was my nemesis for the longest time!
The diagram is affixed for your convenience but once you have understood how they are laid out on the string you are using, after the first few goes, aim to stop referring to it and figure it out yourself.
